My simple Openbox 3.5.0 desktop with menu icons (a new feature in version 3.5.0).
That looks ubercool! How can I build my menu to look like yours, with those icons?
Mind sharing the conky config file in the top section?
Thx!

This is new in 3.5 (you need openbox 3.5.0-3 with imlib2 support compiled in, however). Try this: http://openbox.org/wiki/Help:Configuration#Menu
To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

Yep. Also, Openbox package in community repository already have imlib2 support compiled in since version 3.5.0-2, so if you're using that or a later version, you're good to go. ![]()
Another good tutorial on how to add icons to menu is this blog post by Og Maciel:

Regarding the conky config file, it's a mess right now. Let me clean it up first and I'll post it up for you, okay? ![]()

Wow, one of the best OB set ups I have seen in a while! If I ever go back to OB, I'm gonna make it look like that!
If you can't sit by a cozy fire with your code in hand enjoying its simplicity and clarity, it needs more work. --Carlos Torres

Managed to apply the same look, THANK YOU SCM ![]()
Just one question ... is it possible so set the undecorate property as default, instead of keybind in Openbox?
Thanks for the help.

Sorry, sorry, sorry, fellow Archers, I did not search good enough the first time....
Default undecorated windows in Openbox:
In rc.xml:
<applications>
<application class="*">
<decor>no</decor>
</application>Offline

Although @killerturtle said how to set undecorated windows in Openbox, I would like to know if its possible to control the thickness of windows.
I would like to have a thicker border like yours.
Thanks in advance.

Solved the issue first applying Unia's openbox theme and then setting decor to no on rc.xml file.

I thought that was in the theme definition itself, not an openbox option.

This is settings are placed in the file ~/.theme/yourtheme/openbox/themerc
border.width: 3
border.color: #424242
menu.border.width: 3
menu.border.color: #424242p.s. I do not speak english very well, therefore I talk as I can
