... to the people behind AL for what appears to be a very nice distro.
I am like so many others that I have read here that have come from a distro they were not to happy with - or matured from.
As with most people learning linux I started with Red Hat and Mandrake. Then as I grew weary of these distros the hunt for 'the perfect distro' was launched. I have since tried Debian, Slackware, Gentoo, Sorcerer, Crux, Beehive, YOPER and a few others I cant remember - lol. I have even built my own (read here very basic) setup. Then I happened across Arch - grabbed it - installed it - n gotta say, tis nice.
Now no-one here knows me but for me to actually take the time to register here and to post says a lot - as I am a man of few words. This will probably be the only topic I ever start - but I will help out with any *nix knowledge I can when I can.
So once again - to all those behind the scene - thanks.

I second that THANKS! I first tried SUSE, then Mandrake, Gentoo and finally have found a Linux "home" with Arch. By far the best distro I've found.
