My sister wants to connect her mobile phone to a computer and send files from and to the computer, so she bought a bluetooth adapter for her PC.
She tried this on her Windows PC and failed due to the poorly designed connection software. She could send from the phone but not to it.
Anyways, she came crying to me, asking that I set my Arch up for her to connect.
The problem is, I know s*** about Bluetooth. Never tried to set up on my computer before.
So I looked up the words "arch bluetooth" on Google but those showed up "bluetooth access point" and stuff. I don't think I need an internet access point, or do I...
Can anybody tell me where I can find information on how to setup a file transfer via Bluetooth?
Thanks a lot.

I believe you need something like gammu or wammu (in community repo) and to start the bluetooth daemon at first. I don't know much about bluetooth either.

use gnome-bluetooth or kdebluetooth (both in extra) and make sure you add 'bluetooth' to rc.conf in the daemons array. there are tons of guides on these forums on how to work with bluetooth.
