Maybe add the directory where the cd is mountet to mpd library, and update the library every time a cd is mounted?

That works only if the CD is an mp3 or flac or someting. RAW audio cds can't be mounted.
Personaly I use VLC to play audio cds...

Or find a client which supports reading from CDs. I can't help you there, since I prefer to rip them. The noise of the spinning CD pollutes quality
Anyway, adding a the cd folder to the mpd database won't be ideal, because once you take it out, mpd will probably complain about not finding the folder anymore. And of course the CD format is not recognised. I don't know if you're trying to listen to a CD full of mp3s though

Thank for your help everyone.
This is an audio CD. Not a data cd with mp3...
I searched on mpd wiki and it seem this is not possibly. I'm normally ripping my CD
but it was a new CD and I wanted to listen it rapidly
It annoys me. None of the audio player I like read CD : moc, mpd.
I must use another player, vlc or mplayer...
