How to lock the KDE session when I press Fn+Fx? Thinkpad

Hi, I have configured thinkpad_acpi so I can catch the Fn+Fx key press.

Now my question is: how to lock the KDE session when I press Fn+Fx key? I found out that the command: "kdesktop_lock --forcelock" can lock the KDE session but the /etc/acpi/handler.sh is called by root, that means even though this command can run successfully, it will lock the root's KDE session. On the other hand, this command doesn't work. I try to use the comman: su - <my normal username> -c "/opt/kde/bin/kdesktop_lock --forcelock" but it still doesn't work. The error msg is: "kdesktop_lock: cannot connect to X server".

Anyone has ideas about this? Thanks.
