Gnome alt+f2 gives no dice

I just did a fresh install and went with gnome. When I press alt+f2 the screen just flashes at me. When I click the run icon I get:
Could not launch application
Not a launchable item.

Did a package get missed and what would that be?

Did you install the gnome package group?  There's also a gnome-extra group, but you shouldn't need it for what you are trying to accomplish...

I did pacman -S gnome gnome-extra so I should have everything.

Sorry reasons, I don't know what to suggest other than to google around and see if it's affecting others.

Going to try gnome 2.22 and see how that goes. Not really a fix, but if it works.
