I have working courier-imap systems and now:

error: unresolvable package conflicts detected

:: imap: conflicts with courier-imap
Must we really be forced to use imapd over courier-imap?
edit:
Some more input, On a test system I let it remove courier-imap and install imapd. One it failed to stop the daemon before removing. Perhaps that is why imapd would not start. Anyhow I killed the PID and still was not able to get "/etc/rc.d/imapd start" to work. I then pacman -R imapd and pacman -S courier-imap, now:
pacman -Syu
