I'm trying to find some good backgrounds to use with my SLiM setup. I would like to know if any of you happen to have a nice looking picture of/about the countries and preferably incorporating their flags. These countries are: Canada, Russia (not the USSR, modern Russia), and Germany. These countries have such amazing natural beauty but I'm incompetent with The GIMP so I can't properly take two images (Creative Commons licensed of course), one of the country, on of its flag, and put them together in an appealing fashion.
Bonus points if you can find one where the flag is semi-transparent, giving way to the picture of the country's landscape. My main issue is the flag, of course, but I wouldn't mind staring at the Canadian Rockies those 10 seconds between SLiM coming up and fbsetbg taking over the background, hehe.
If it's real high res, that's fine. I'll figure out how to shrink it to my resolution.
