Simply pulling out USB keys w/ HAL?
I have always known that simply pulling out removable drives is a no-no. But I'm curious ... if you're done transferring junk to a key, and it's mounted with HAL, can I just pull it out? Or am I at a high risk of data loss, even if activity lights stop? I've done this accidentally and things were fine, that's why I ask.
