Hello all.
I'm using ABS to compile truecrypt as I have a home rolled kernel.
when attempting to build the package, the source tarball cannot be found:
[burro@el-diablo truecrypt]# makepkg --asroot

[burro@el-diablo truecrypt]#sure enough, http://www.truecrypt.org/downloads/true … ode.tar.gz does not exist as 4.3 is not available to download on the truecrypt site.
I eventually got hold of the source using a gentoo mirror, ironic that, as I dumped Gentoo to move to Arch or Ark if the website notification is not an April Fool
I hope it is because mien deutsch ist scheisse ![]()
Is this worthy of a bug report?
Cheers

It's not an Arch bug. You could try reporting it to Truecrypt, but their policy is to provide the current source only for download - that link was only valid when 4.3a was current. They provide a limited number of past versions as pre-compiled debs/rpms, but apart from that you're on your own.
