OpenOffice-Ewwww!

Does anyone know how to make the OpenOffice menus look right?  Mine look like they're GTK menus not setup right in KDE, Which shouldn't be right as I have the QT/GTK config package installed and it's working correctly for Firefox and other programs.  The menus don't blend in with the border at all and just generally look bad.  How can I fix this?

Re: OpenOffice-Ewwww!

From my understanding, you are trying to make OO blend in with KDE.

did you put
export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde

in your .bashrc?

Re: OpenOffice-Ewwww!

huh?  I'm not following you.  For all other programs that had the default GTK theme, I went into the KDE Control Center and set it to use the KDE theme for GTK applications.  How would I do what you are saying?

Re: OpenOffice-Ewwww!

tried putting that in the .bashrc file in my home folder and it didn't do anything.  Here's a screenshot to show what I'm talking about.

I'd put it in preferentially in /etc/rc.local or /etc/profile.  What is exactly wrong with them - thing look fairly KDE like to me.

That's already KDE smile Yeah, it sucks. You can have KOffice if you don't need all the M$ shebang.

I need real, proper pen and paper for this.

Re: OpenOffice-Ewwww!

Well it looks like Firefox did before I setup the GTK thing.  The shelves or whatever that hold the program buttons don't blend into the window border at all...
