missing alt-gr

my alt-gr doesn't work. I've just installed arch with a kde on my laptop -- dell d430.
doing a bit of googling i got this
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=39071
and searching the wiki there's this page using xmodmap:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg
also the forums speak of xmodmap. --- which doesn't do the job.
Got the same keymap as on my other computers where alt-gr is working just fine.
Doing the xmodmap i just get a 2 instead of @ (danish keyboard layout)
xev sends keycode 113 so some of it should work.

Anybody any ideas? thanks a lot smile

Re: missing alt-gr

what i did was::
use an xmodmap "keycode 113 = Mode_switch" BUT, what helped me was to configure my xorg.conf properly. Everybody get wiser some time tongue hope its my time soon.
Thanks for the question -- that made me somehow fall over the answer
