troubles with pm-suspend

Hi!!

I am having a problem with pm-suspend. Actualy before full system upgrade and bios reinstalling it was working almost perfectly(exept the LED lights, that after resume did not do what they should), but now when i resume strange things are happening. The screen starts flashing like crazy(its quite hard to explain how)... and if i kill x, it doesn't stop, also the resilution is wrong...
  the /var/log/pm-suspend.log gives no errors... I just don't know what to do..  I think i should make my own hook (like i did with ndiswrapper), but i don't know what i should reload manually...
  I have dell inspiron 1501 with ati video card, if its important... if any futher information is needed please tell me...
