In the /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist can I comment out all the servers I don't want?

Cool.  Should I also comment out ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/$repo/os/x86_64 ?

I commented out all the ones I don't want, except for that because I'm not sure about it..there's only one other than that that isn't commented out lol.

You can comment out ftp.archlinux.org.  It's use is discouraged anyway.

Yes, it is best not to use the ftp.archlinux.org mirror.  Not only does it save the distro some bandwidth, it is also capped for download speed/
