Hi Archers,
this is my 100 post to this forum and I think it's about time to say a big "Thank you!" to everyone who's, in any possible way, involved in the Arch Linux project. You're doing an awesome job! I am using Arch, which I've discovered rather by a funny accident than while searching for alternatives, for maybe 6 Month now (after using Gentoo for maybe 2.5 years) and it turned out to be my "distro-hopper-stopper"
. I also like to thank the community behind Arch. You really know how to make the forums and IRC a nice place to stay. I might not post that often, and I already got the "loser of the day" award on IRC (maybe because I am idling most the time) and I am also associated with phriks !troll command already (probably for accidentally posting a crapload of irrelevant stuff which was still in my clipboard ... sorry again for that
) but I really enjoy it to be here
. IMHO the community behind Arch is really outstanding in a lot of aspects, especially it's kindness, the lack of "RTFM" answers and the overall present sense of humor (well I guess I joined too late to really grasp the taco jokes though).
So once again: Thank you dudes/dudesses for making Arch the great distro it is! You rock!

Tacos? Jokes? Sense of humour?
We _are_ talking about the same community right?
Last I heard there was a mass killing of all users with username starting with C. I'm scared 'cause D is next ![]()

Thats a great description, I used loads of different disto's i settled for Gentoo for about a year or so and then found Arch Linux while looking around. I haven't changed since. I do look at Ubunutu in a VM just to see whats going on i think they are doing a good job for new users. Arch is the Distro hopper stopper
Thanks All ![]()

Well, it's 01:17 right now! No sign of them whatsoever. This might proof the effectiveness of having the walls and the ceiling of my room decorated with tinfoil 8).

It's got to be hard to spend so much time on forums with so many tacos about. Give him time. ![]()
My roomates said they were going to get me rims for Christmas, or a CB radio so I can talk to other car beds; that'll be hot. Might get a stereo, too. My sister said I should get an alarm.

No one grasps the taco jokes.

Your avatar is so strangely familiar, but I can't place where it's from. Where/what did that character come from?

Mmm, yes, gracious. I've been seeing that image for the past couple days and it was kind of bothering me why I couldn't remember anything about it.
