alsa auto-loads

Hi everyone... before, forgive my poor english.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y510 and I'm having an issue with alsa sound.

I installed alsa, alsa-utils, etc. from repositories and followed this instructions to fix the built-in subwoofer.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=687663&page=2

I added right options in /etc/modprobe.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo-ms7195-dig

Now when I start I get the subwoofer, but I'having headphone issue, when I plug my headphone set not all speakers (center and subwoofer) mute!!!

Maybe, I should compile alsa as they say, but I did a

pacman -Syu alsa-lib alsa-utils

after all, Shouldn't I have updated my system? I have alsa 1.0.16 which is the latest!! but muting problem still remains.

What I noticed is that I have this devices according to gnome-sound-properties:
HDA Intel (ALSA mixer)
Realtek ALC888 (OSS mixer)

When I

/etc/rc.d/alsa stop

sound still remains!!! Shouldn't sound stop?

I know all sound weird... but I'm lost, dunno what to do!

Thanks in advice.

Re: alsa auto-loads

The alsa init script only loads alsas mixer settings as far as I know.

Use the Source, Luke!
