claw mail and html view

Is it possible to set claw mail to display mails in html format instead of text. Clicking the html view bottom for every mail is annoying.

I think the website has some plugins that allow html rendering using either dillo or gtkhtml. Note that gtkhtml had gnome deps. so if you are going for a lightweight desktop, probably not what you're looking for. IIRC, Dillo is lightweight, but doesn't support all fancy formatting and scripts that some website have.

I have gtkhtml plugin installed. But I have to click the html view button for each mail. I want it to display mails like evolution if possible.

In Configuration - Preferences - Plugins - GtkHtml2 Viewer do you have Load remote images in mails selected as this is not selected by default on my setup.

Configuration -> Preferences -> Message View -> Text Options -> Render HTML-only messages with plugin if possible

If I understand you right, that is the option you want. (But I can't see a reason why to use html mail )
