gnome-keybinding-properties where does configuration file located ?

Hi,

Im on the way to "dig" my gnome-keybinding (System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts).
at the beginning: value of Volume Mute was XF86AudioMute
I pressed Mute button on my keyboard -> didn't work!

Comeback again with gnome-keybinding, select Volume Mute by clicking the mouse, press my mute key->new value: XF86AudioMute <-- same as old value
-> press Mute button again -> but now it works !!!

Did Gnome-keybinding-properties save the "physical address" of my mute key to XF86AudioMute anywhere ? I'm very glad to see any tips from all friends here.
