audacious-plugins depwnds on GCC ???

Hi
Yesterday I installed audacious and after pacman install it and recommended me to install audacious-plugins to have a full functional mp3 player, so did what was suggested. However I found that the plugin depended on GCC.  This surprised me.

so my question is, does audacious-plugins really need GCC?

It probably just depends on gcc-libs. Submit a bug report.

whoops - Snowman's likely right, I should have only made it depend on gcc-libs, afaik.  I'll check into it, but I probably made a boo-boo.
