Copy paste log
I think I accidentally moved few of my files in some other folder and I cant find it. Is there any system log which contains copy past info.

Good question! There's probably a way to ask the X server what's in its selection buffer and log it. Has anyone done this before?

What about using locate? Run updatedb first, to pick up today's changes. (peets' idea is geekier, though)
