question about partitions and CD

I have an old cd I think I downloaded it in 2007 (or 2006) don't know the exact year. Are the mirrors still the same?

Also, I have /home in a different partition, will arch linux installation ask me to mount /home?
meaning that
/ contains 12 GB
/home around 170 GB
and the linux swap which is around a GB

any article covering this in the wiki would be really great to know, if it exists can someone link me there?

Re: question about partitions and CD

The mirrors change over time. Of course, ftp.archlinux.org still works, but the repo layout has changed. Moreover, there have been many changes during the last year. You're *much* better off downloading a new iso.

And yes, the installer allows having separate /home partition. A good reading is the official install guide and beginner's guide.
