[SOLVED] Audio CD no longer accessible

I don't know when this problem began. I noticed it last night.

When I insert an audio CD, Rhythmbox opens and give an error saying it cannot access the drive or device. Sound Juicer tells me it is missing the plugin to give it access to the drive.

Data CDs are read just fine

This is on a system running Gnome 2.22 with hal in the daemons array. The last time I read / ripped an audio CD was probably four weeks ago, before I went from Gnome 2.20 to the new one. Suffice to say it used to work.

Any ideas?

Yeah, here's an idea . . . update sound juicer.
