Releases

Hello all,

I'm really just getting started with Arch.  I had some trouble using the FTP installation disc 2007.08-2, and found the bug regarding the issue.  That bug suggested using the 2008.03-1 release.  I found it on a mirror and I'm going to try it out.  However, I just wanted to know a little about the release.  Is this a beta or release candidate?  I just wondered why it wasn't mentioned on the front page under "releases."

Thanks preemptively,
Kalos

Re: Releases

You can use it (especially if you want FTP install), the only drawback is the ISO has packages that are currently in testing for the most part, so your system will be newer than the current repo wink. Shouldn't stop you from using it though.
