XFCE archiving application: Squeeze vs. Xarchiver vs. ???

Hi,

I'm using XFCE as desktop. I've been experimenting a bit with archiving applications Squeeze and Xarchiver. They both seem a bit less mature than, say, GNOME's file-roller. Which of the two can you eventually recommend for daily use? Is there eventually another application besides these two that I can use?

I use squeeze if I want to browse an archive and it works well for me.  However, I always use tar to create/extract archives.

Re: XFCE archiving application: Squeeze vs. Xarchiver vs. ???

Thanks! I just compared the two for the best part of an hour, and my impression also tends to incline towards Squeeze. I also use the commandline to handle archives, but this is for a public computer room, where I can't expect users to work on the CLI.

Cheers!
