How to make my own battery/ac event script?

Hi everyone, I use smartdimmer to adjust the screen brightness, the problem is, when I change to battery/ac, I have to manually run smartdimmer -s number, so is there a way that I can put some scripts to somewhere that would be invoked when battery/ac changed?

If you have acpid installed, check out /etc/acpi/handler.sh.  All you'd need to do is add your command in the appropriate switch/case section.
