Maybe you could try forcing it with:

pacman -Syuf

There shouldn't be any problems, but still.....be careful with using that

it doesn't help... gives the same error... :-(

Then you must have mistyped something, because the 'f' in 'pacman -Suf' tells pacman to ignore "conflicting files" error and just overwrite them.
