Sound skipping in wine

I know this kind of things belong to the bug reports, but I want to make sure this is a problem between most users instead of just me. What happens is that when I install wine, and go to the Sound tab, I configure wine to use alsa and then hit test sound, and the sound is supposed to be two bits of sound, strangely enough wine just skips one bit, the first half of the sound and plays just the second bit. I even upgraded wine to 0.9.60 using abs and the issue is still there, leaving me to believe that alsa or any other sound package is the problem. Can anyone verify this for me?

Re: Sound skipping in wine

Forget this, is fixed.

Way to fix sound problems? Switch to the superior sound system that is pulseaudio, ear candy for everybody. big_smile The wiki is very helpful about how to set up pulseaudio.
