symfony not working

Has anyone had problems with symfony framework? I've installed it today, and it simply doesn't work...

do you have the web server and php started? Symfony is just some PHP code, it's not executable without a web stack :x not sure if that helps.

Figured it out. It just doesn't like PHP's safe mode.
