Flash and Firefox

So, I finally decided to tackle this old problem:
I can't get flash to work in firefox.

I'm talking about flashplugin-9.0.124 and firefox 2.0.0.14.

I've looked at the about:config, and flash is there and enabled. I've even disabled the flashblock addon, to no avail.

Any ideas how I can get this to work?

do you have any other browsers installed , do they work?

Hmm, apparently is was a configuration issue.
Had to remove my .mozilla/firefox directory.

Shame, but it worked.
