Feature Request: Use ABS to re-compile installed system

Hey,

I was wondering if it would be possible to write a script that will use ABS and your own configured makepkg.conf,
to re-compile all the packages that are installed on your system with the current GCC and your own CPU flags.

That way, if someone has some hours to kill, he could speed up his system to a "Gentoo level" of optimization.

What do you think?

Shoudn't be to hard. You can hack the makeworld script to do it.

http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=47667  <-- when I said file a feature request, I meant go to the 'Bugs' link at the top, select the 'pacman' project, and file a request for a feature to be added to ABS.
