The problem here is that archboot has not been updated to account for the provisions of the new kernel. The way to update the kernel here is to either remove archboot, or use "pacman -Sf kernel26". You should also check that the archboot problem has a bug report...

You don't need to be a linux expert, just a basic pacman user.
It's just saying that the archboot package is broken, so kill it and that's all.
pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))

Just checking the description in pacman -Si archboot would give you a better idea about what it is for...
And by the way, it's in extra.

so ive removed archboot and updated the kernel.. lets just hope my computer starts next time i reboot it..
and for you ink--jet: first of all its urxvt with the font MonteCarlo (just search google for it), you can check the april 08 screenshot thread btw, page 14-15 for my .Xdefaults file with the color settings
