Any decent games I can play on this ancient machine?

I'm at my parents house with my old machine that I have Arch installed on and I wanna kill some time before bed.  Any games I can play with this ancient machine?

P3 450 mhz
384mb ram
Radeon 7000 video card

Any suggestions?

Nexuiz will play well on that, SMC, Egoboo, Go ... depends what type of game you want to play.

I'm torn apart between worlds. Basically, using vim in a highly visual environment with a lot of mouse features feels like soldering a lose wire to a motherboard with a Zippo and a needle, while working with ANY TEXT AT ALL with a "modern GUI" text editor feels like joining the London Philharmonic Orchestra with a Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Magical Musical Mirror.  --Awebb

Battle for Wesnoth or free old games like beneath a steel sky via scummvm. The requirements are very low, but it's a lot of fun.

Old Infocom or Lucas Arts adventures. Quake 1,2 / doom 1,2 if you like egoshooters.
Probably you also like Nethack or one of its clones like Shlashem.

I rediscovered Impression Games' city builder titles recently, i.e. "Emperor - Rise of the Middle Kingdom". It's for Windows, but installs and runs smoothly on newest WINE.  I think it's a nice proposal for a long evening, and it'll surely run on a >5-year old machine.

Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved. Or perhaps someone has temporarily removed the floor under your bed."
