Amarok cpu usage problem

A few days ago my AmaroK has started to behave strangely. I think there was no AmaroK update in the meantime. It`s cpu usage is jumping everytime between 10% to 99% (amarokapp). Renicing is not helping a lot.

[root@skywalker walker]# amarok -v
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.9
Amarok: 1.4.8

I notices this when my notebook fan became to spin in high speed and casing became warm.
What exactly can cause this increased cpu consumption? yikes

Re: Amarok cpu usage problem

I believe there was a xine-lib upgrade a couple of days ago, you might want to check your xine installation.

Re: Amarok cpu usage problem

I went back to

alsa-lib-1.0.15-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz

from

alsa-lib-1.0.16-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz

but I don`t see specially any change on my cpu.

Should I backward something else? like alsa-utils?
I don`t see v.1.15-1 of this package in my /var/cache/pacman/pkg just newest one 1.16-1. hmm
