can't figure how to configure mime-types!

Hi everyone!

I have been XFCE free for some time, using DWM now... "I'm lovin' it", but there's a problem, now that I reinstalled without XFCE... I can't get mime-types to work with opera, or probably any other application...

Firefox used to work only with Gnome, Opera worked with XFCE and everything else, but now it doesn't.
Where does Opera read mime information from? How do I set it?

Re: can't figure how to configure mime-types!

Maybe opera outputs some debug messages? Try running it from the command line and see if it prints out anything when you do an operation that requires mime types.

You may also want to look up xdg and stuff.

That's been bothering me for some time but never enough that I actually take the time to do something about it. If you do, I'll happily use your work if you share it!
