I have just installed Xorg. Now i need to configure it.
Im wondering how you lot did it. Is there a script that auto-geterates the xorg.conf file, or did you do it all by hand? I was thinking of using a ubuntu live cd, but that seems cheating really.
Suggestions?

I have a nVidia card, so I used nvidia-xconfig, did some minor edits, and everything was set up.

I used X -configure to get a base configuration, then modified it to suit my needs.

I have a mic attached to my PC so it was fairly easy. I just shouted "Set up X for me, NOW!" and puff :-D
EDIT: Seriously, though, just read the wiki, it's a few minutes of work to get X up and running.....cheers!

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.
