Stop. Please, everyone, stop. There's nothing here. The thread was dead before it even started. Stop. Please!?!?!?!?!??!?

So, why do you keep posting the same useless posts in several threads?
I guess quantity != quality (referring to your post count)

Die, please!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Re: Someone is doing us bad publicity in todays DWW

let's be proactive and pragmatic.

Interestingly, I've been. Although I pushed people towards ABS, I kindly provided all missing wine builds on my personal server.

Seriously, WTF more do the suckers want?

Agreed. Yet I need to vent.

Now I wish a mod closed this thread, but this would inevitably trigger Godwin's law for the mods would then be called names. Of course not here, with the Brain(c) powered community we have, but in another electronic place for sure.

PS: yes I'm kinda pissed of.

EDIT: counted the number of downloads:

# cat /var/log/lighttpd/access.log | gzip | zcat - /var/log/lighttpd/access.log.* | grep wine | wc -l
21

and per version:

# for i in 55 56 57 58 59 60 61; do echo -n "0.9.$i: "; cat /var/log/lighttpd/access.log | gzip | zcat - /var/log/lighttpd/access.log.* |grep wine | grep 0.9.$i | wc -l; done
0.9.55: 0
0.9.56: 2
0.9.57: 0
0.9.58: 0
0.9.59: 0
0.9.60: 9
0.9.61: 8

it seems soooo many poor souls needed it! (and that's not unique people, but GET requests)

Seriously how does that warrant such a mess is beyond me. Hopefully in the future we'll have BrainAssist(tm) chips/implants/whatever readily available for the defective people out there that'll definitely fix PEBKAC bugs.

EDIT 2: numbers do not add up because some people did request '$i'... see the relevant thread as for why.

EDIT 3: oh yeah. someday I'll be a BOFH. *grin*

To know recursion, you must first know recursion.

Wish granted. Godwin is not compatible with my belief system.
