I have no idea what happened. I haven't had to use OOo in a few weeks, so I didn't notice the problem (until now?). It worked fine 2 weeks ago.
I honestly have no idea how to remedy this, as I'm not a good Wingdings interpreter. It's running 2.4.

ok here, current build, 3.0.1...
no idea... maybe remove .openoffice.org folder in ~ and try again (make a backup first)..?

Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> View -> Use system font for user interface
