Downgrading a pkg

What is the pacman command to downgrade a pkg?  I did a search on this board, read the docs and man file and I can not find anything on how to downgrade.  Seems like a pretty basic thing to do but I can't find anything on the subject.

I'm stuck with the faulty new kdelibs pkg and I have the previous version.  What to do?
