[SOLVED] GNOME 2.22 and Mime

Hi!

I have this problem after upgrading to GNOME 2.22.

1) I can't open any file by "double clicking on it". The registered application is OK, thats it, for a image it tries to open Eye Of Gnome, but nothing happens. A workaround is to add a custom command "eog". But this is not nice.

2) On other PC, I don't have problem 1, but I can't preview any PNG images, even in programs like "alacarte".

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance!!

Edit.:

Solved by deleting ~/.local/share/* (leaving Trash)

I didn't have that problem but have you tried the "bad way" of deleting (or better simply moving,so you have a backup if this don't help) the gnome configuration files and see if recreating them fixes the problem?
I know it's not a good solution..

Hi,

Deleting ~/.local/share/* (leaving Thrash) worked!

Thanks for the suggestion!
