Run box in Linux....

Hi,

I was reading about Run dialog in Windows.. and thought I would give it a shot in Gnome

Alt-F2 enter '.' [dot] and your /home directory should come up in Nautilus

Ok so not that impressive but its a start :-)

Re: Run box in Linux....

KDE's "Run command' doubles as a simple calculator :-)

I use gmrun for quick program launching. Its more fast and compact than the gnome run dialog.

Gmrun is great !
If you're currently running a full gnome desktop, you may be interested in Gnome-do.
