spumux Segmentation fault

$ spumux -s0 subtitle.xml < something_dvd.mpg > something_dvd.mpg.temp
DVDAuthor::spumux, version 0.6.14.
Build options: gnugetopt magick iconv freetype fribidi

Segmentation fault

What's wrong with this?What's the reason for the Segmentation fault?Can somebody help?
I am trying to burn a dvd from an .avi three days now and i am in a hurry burning this because it's a part of a presentation for my job...:/
