Open Office freezes the whole computer.

Hi

I have a problem with Open Office. I just installed it, and it freezes when I try to start it. In fact the whole machine freez. I am using Archlinux Core Dump, I installed it from base CD, and then I installed everything else. I am using fluxbox. My kernel is 2.6.24-ARCH. I am starting Open Office from console via soffice command, and there are no error messages displayed. When the splash screen disappear and the GUI is shown, it freezes my computer. Someone with similar problems?

Can I find an older package of open office somewhere?
