Actually opera uses gtk widgets in save/open dialogs already, when run in gnome..

I just wish somebody port k-meleon to Linux or improve epiphany to be more usable.

Well, I use Konqueror as my main browser, simply because its fast, and has great KDE integration. Firefox 3 is already fast, and it is looking like now it will have better integration too.
Now if I could only bring myself to use a Gecko based browser. ( I love KHTML )

Hehe, sorry for causing trouble
But seriously, k-meleon is a fantastic browser (fast, lightweight, no bells and whistles), it would be a breathe of fresh air in the linux world

This is great news for the kde users as I remember wanting it so much back then. But now I don't even use firefox, epiphany is where it's at. All you really need is an adblocker anyways and once webkit is stable, it's FTW!

Finally.

how will this affect web browsers ( kazehakase) that are gecko based?

Have a look at the first line in the Article: "Adding QT support" - dear thread starter, please don't get so excited about it that you make people believe that QT support for gecko means firefox going QT only.
In other words: I doubt that Firefox will use QT anytime soon, but you'll be able to use gecko with QT integration when he finished his work.

For the people that will be disappointed to understand that there will be some time before the QTFox appear, I suggest keeping an eye on this qt-webkit demo browser - it may become something usable sooner (though still pre-alpha).
If everything else fails, read the manual.
