Openoffice freezes while openning ods. Not on xls.[SOLVED]

I have an xls file made with MS Office 2-3 years ago. Back then I opened that file with OO and saved it as ods. Since then every month I open that ods file, edit it and save it as a new ods file. Today I tried to open that file again and OO froze (is this correct grammar?). The same thing happened with all the other monthly ods files. Then I tried to open the original xls file. This time it worked fine. I saved it as file2.ods and when I tried to open it OO froze again.

I tried to run OO with soffice from console but I don't get any messages. And I don't see any switch for verbosity or log
display.

Yesterday I moved from the official Arch Linux KDE package to kdemod. Could this be somehow related?

Any other ideas please?

EDIT: The problem seems to be solved by itself. For some reason after a reboot it seems to work fine. Can some moderator delete this please?
