Hi all,
i've got a problem in building the kernel26zen-git from AUR, i'm getting this error
-> Updating branch: master...
Already up-to-date.
==> Generating commit ChangeLog...
==> Testing if current kernel version is supported by this PKGBUILD...
make: *** No rule to make target `kernelversion'. Stop.
==> ERRORE: Failed
==> ERRORE: Compilazione interrotta.
L'operazione sta per essere interrotta...
Error: Makepkg was unable to build kernel26zen-git package.
i really don't know what the target "kernelversion" is.. now i'm running the 2.6.24-ARCH kernel.. i've tried to build the zen-git because i'd like to try the led patch for the intel 3945 wifi..can you confirm this patch is present in the zen sources?? thanks in advance..

iwl3945 LED patch was removed from 2.6.25-zen
unless you are trying to build 2.6.24-zen which still has it.
I would suggest classic kernel build rather than PKGBUILD. It is simple and it always works in contrast to AUR packages.
Anyway, old method of building zen kernels works for both .24 and .25 zen kenel series.

thank you for your reply.. so the new 2.6.25 zen kernel hasn't the led patch?so which kernel can you suggest me for having a 2.6.25 with that led patch?
ps anyway my problem with zen kernel was solved by removing and redownloading all the sources from git

well, I think that the last zen with iwl3945 led is 2.6.24.
I asked the same question regarding iwl3945 led some time ago and this is the answer:
The LED patch apparently caused problems with download/upload speed, so waninkoko removed it
so I don't know when iwl3945 will be incorporated again
