Internal multi-card reader not working

I recently bought an internal multi-card reader (namely a Sabrent 52 in 1 USB 2.0 Internal Memory Card Reader & Writer) and have since been struggling trying to make it work.

I'm running Arch 64-bit and my custom compiled kernel and all my packages are up-to-date.

Googling around I found that it might be 'cause by ehci_hcd and that removing that module (USB 2.0 support) might fix it, but that didn't help. Modprobing the 'sg' module at least finds(ish) the device:

I'm not sure what to do, it won't show up in lsusb (nor in lspci, but it shouldn't show there anyway) and I'm pretty sure I got all the needed kernel options either compiled in or as modules ('Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device' is enabled). Any ideas/pointers would be appreaciated. The only thing working on the card reader is the USB-port, but that's not what I got it for.
