Ok folks... yes I know I should do some prelim troubleshooting, but it's late here and I just noticed this after a friend left. I did a pacman -Syu just this evening and it upgraded rdesktop... I try running rdesktop and I get the following:
rdesktop: error while loading shared libraries: libsamplerate.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
This sure looks like an issue with the new package so for all of you who say do some prelim troubleshooting I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the package... no luck same error. Did a search on the system and I couldnt find the libsamplerate.so.0 file anywhere on the system, which is massively uncool. Checked the wiki with nothing found.Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

As a first thing, (re)install libsamplerate package. Check if /usr/lib/libsamplerate.so.0 is there. If yes, and rdesktop doesn't work, try recompiling it via abs.
