Laptop on AC automatically idling ?

I'm experiencing something very annoying on my laptop while on AC. If the laptop is idle for a while, the screen goes black. When I come back to use this laptop, the computer comes back from this idle mode, but the wireless is not working and I have to restart the net-profiles script in order for it to work.

I don't know where can I configure this behavior... I tried looking in the laptop_mode script but didn't find anything.
I would like to disable this behaviour when using AC power... It's very annoying to disconnected just because the computer is idle.....
