VLC stopped producing sound with PulseAudio
VLC used to work perfectly with the PulseAudio ALSA plugin. But now I can't seem to get any audio anymore. All volumes are up and PulseAudio manager reports vlc as a client through the alsa plugin. When I shutdown PulseAudio, I get audio again from VLC, but extremely messed up sound. This doesn't have anything to do with the latest VLC update, I had it before that also. Has anyone else experienced this before?
