Can't edit new Wiki page - SOLVED

Hello,

I've logged into the wiki and created a new page by typing the URL.

Then I click "edit this page" to add content.

I receive the error:

E-mail confirmation required to edit

You must confirm your e-mail address before editing pages. Please set and validate your e-mail address through your user preferences.

My user preferences have contained an email address since my wiki account was created.

I tried re-saving the preferences, but this didn't seem to help.

Sorry to write with such a _lame_luser_ problem, but it not working for me.

Hopefully the upcoming wiki page will make this worth the effort of a Wiki Admin.

Did you check your email inbox for a subscription email? You probably have to verify you used a real email address. It may have gotten spamboxed.

No mail came.

I can send to the address in my profile and see the message in the server logs.

But no outside mail has come to the address listed in my user preferences 8-(

OK, I got it to work.

I had to delete the email address, save the preferences, then re-add the same email address, and save the preferences again.

Then the wiki sent a confirmation email, and afterward I was able to edit the new page.

OK, now back to what I started with, the new wiki page 8-)
